It is New Year’s day, am a bit under the weather and to add to my misery, there is a really pandu (S’s terminology not mine) Hindi movie on the tele. It is a sappy, soppy story about a rich boy and a poor girl. I am probably stating the obvious here, but why are so many Hindi movies so clichéd. Talking about movies, you just have to read Sambar’s take on Veer-Zaara.
